A long time ago in a galaxy far far away...

The second death star has been destroyed and the celebration had ended. Warlords from the once proud Empire have fled the Imperial Capital City of Coruscant and are fighting for power.

Near Endor, the rebel leaders have realized that they need to find a place of power if ever to restore peace to the Galaxy.

But not far from the rebel fleet an Imperial Warlord had striked a deal with the dark side of the Force and threatens to destroy everything the Rebel Alliance has fought for......

Luke looked into the blackness of space. It had been three days since the second Death Star was destroyed. He turned and walked out of the door to his room. The ship was like any other Frigate but somehow he still felt insecure about victory.

He walked towards the elevator that led to the meeting chamber and sat down. Mon Mothma stood up in a white gown and said, "The Emperor and his Empire have been defeated. Now is the time when we should plan our next course of action."

Leia scratched her head and argued, "Isn't it true that the Empire's most ruthless tyrants still argue amongst themselves for power? I think our first order of business should be to find...."

Her voice trailed off as Luke continued her thought for her. "We need to find a base but I will not go with the fleet. I have made R2-D2 prep my X-Wing. Might I suggest the old Imperial Palace?"

He left and Mon Mothma stood silently until Admiral Ackbar marched in. "We are entering Coruscant airspace", the admiral said.

Leia stood up in disbelief. "I thought we were going to vote on a course of action!"

Mon Mothma sat downand shrugged. "As the galaxy's new and only hope we must find a base of operations. We can't simply use our ship as a HQ. Especially if there were to be a Grand Admiral that shared the insight of the Emperor."

"But...we already know that there could be spies on Coruscant who would report everything they learned to Imperials in the area. I thought as the Rebel leader you would have thought ahead."

"I have and I'm happy to say that our troops left on Coruscant have not found spies. We will be landing in a few moments. We will continue this conversation when we get to the council chamber." Mon Mothma walked off and Leia looked around.

They had won the battle but not the war. If a Grand Admiral would come to power it would destroy any hope they had at peace or even a truce. They would have to be careful if they were to suceed in restoring order to the galaxy.

NEXT TIME IN CHAPTER TWO THROUGH SEVEN...

Luke goes to Cloud City where he learns of a peaceful planet. Not only that but he learns info about his mother also.

Meanwhile back on Coruscant Han prepares to propose to Leia but she learns of her brother's findings and heads off to follow him.

And near the Planet of Naboo an Imperial task force waits for the twins....
